Seniors are only competing with other BVS seniors, so your odds of winning are naturally higher compared to other high schools!
To be considered for a scholarship, students must be in their senior year and on track to graduate that year. They must be enrolled in one of the 17 high schools listed above and planning to attend a two-year or four-year college or university for the following fall semester.
Students interested in earning a Great Southeast Flooring America scholarship should also be able to demonstrate traits such as high character, integrity, academic achievement, sportsmanship, citizenship, and leadership.
A 500-word essay on “How I Would Use the $1,000” is also required.
The deadline for submitting the application and essay is April 1.
